I liked the first series of Underbelly there was a bit of language and a few racey scenes in amongst a story line that could absorb that sort of thing. Underbelly 2 seems to be the return of Channel 9′s romp show of the early 90′s Chances. Every second scene there is a boob in shot and every third scene some one is ‘having a good time’. I am not a prude and am not saying I can’t handle it but I just don’t see how it aids the storyline at all.

I am sure the people who go for this type of nude television are not watching Underbelly as am I sure the people who watch Underbelly are not watching it for the nudity. It is just a case of boobs for the sake of boobs in my opinion. Maybe its boobs for the sake of a shallow storyline? Or to try and pad the season out to 12 episodes instead of 8 without the boobs.

I am liking the story so far myself. It glamorizes crime a little bit but I think we are all old enough to understand that it is a TV show.
