This Sundays UFC event comes to use from London England which has its plus’s and minus’s. The minus is the time difference which means the event kicks of live here in Oz at the horrendous hour of 6:30AM on Sunday morning. Thankfully mainevent used their brains and show replays throughout the day meaning I don’t have to wake up at sparrows fart to watch. The plus of the event is that the good people of London or the UK for that matter, usually blow a head gasket cheering for sporting events which creates a great atmosphere. The UFC usually have a great crowd reaction anyways but the fans in the UK are nuts.

The main event sees Diego “Nightmare” Sanchez V Joe “Daddy” Stevens in what I would consider to be the unofficial number 2 ranking in the lightweight division. The winner of this fight I think would find himself in line for a title shot later in the year against the winner of the upcoming title fight between BJ Penn and Kenny Florian. Nightmare is dropping down from 170 pounds to 155 for the first time and I think he may be to much for Daddy to handle. My money is on Nightmare.

Middleweight bout: (Nate Marquardt) vs. Wilson Gouveia – Not sure on this one but made a decision with The Great.

Middleweight bout: (Demian Maia) vs. Chael Sonnen – Maia is a freak.

Welterweight bout: (Dan Hardy) vs. Rory Markham – Hometown advantage should get him home.

Welterweight bout: (Josh Koscheck) vs. Paulo Thiago – This could be interesting because Thiago is relatively unknown and has a good record.
