Punishment for what?

Published by SJ under General

Brett Seymour – Football player for the Cronulla Sharks

Was kicked out of a club and filmed while drunk and walking around the streets of Cronulla. During the movie Seymour falls over and carries on like a bit of a niff. He also fell over on to a girl as she was trying to help him.

Punishment – Suspension and $20,000 fine

Andrew O’Keefe – Television host on channel 7

Was kicked out of a club and filmed while drunk and walking around the streets of Prahran. During the movie O’Keefe falls over and carries on like a bit a niff. He also fell over on to a girl as she was trying to help him.

Punishment – Nothing

Well, well what a surprise absolute proof that it’s a matter of what’s good for the goose ain’t always so crash hot for the gander. This is the sort of hypocritical dribble that pisses me off.

How in the world is what Brett Seymour did any worse than what little Johnnies nephew did?

Both are in the public eye.

Both could be perceived to be “role models”

Both dribbled on like a pair of 2 year olds.

I can’t see how anyone thinks that Brett Seymour should be punished at all. He was kicked out of the pub for being in thongs, which is perfectly reasonable.

Anyone who thinks Seymour should be punished should have a think about the times they have been out having a good time with mates and run amuck. Then consider when they showed up at work on Monday their boss was shaking his finger at them and taking money out of their pocket. They would squeal louder Russell Crowe giving it to David Gallop.

Hypocrites, ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Manchester United Suck & Arianny Celeste

Published by SJ under General

Ok I will open with the hottie. Here is a You Tube movie of one of the UFC’s ring girls Arianny Celeste. I seem to recall a few of you liked her in a previous post so by popular demand, here she is.

Oh and yes, Manchester United suck in the biggest way. I love Liverpool and loved their destruction of Man U on Saturday night. I particularly enjoyed the following goal from a goal kick that took Liverpool to 4 – 1. Liverpool paid the juicy odds of $4.20 the win, thank you very much you favourite backing losers!

Oh and Guerrilla Gardeners is the worst show ever!

Whip the Pillow

Published by SJ under General

The latest crock of crap coming out of the world of do gooders continues to surprise. This time they are attacking the sport of kings with an attempt to bring in new rules. Theses so called new rules would become effective from August 1st this year and are likely to include:

PADDED whips.
Padded Whips? Oxymoron of the year. Instead of calling the persuader a whip lets just call it by its new name a freaking pillow. Gee that will be helpful when trying to push the pace to win. Come on Niconero Go!! No, don’t fall asleep.

A LIMIT on the number of times a horse can be hit before the 200m mark.
I can see merit to this but think it should remain a little flexible. As the saying goes its no use flogging a dead horse and if the horse is clearly not going to win money or is not responding after a few strikes then put the whip way. If the horse needs a few extra ones to keep it straight or push the pace then that’s fine with me.

I will tell you this, if a horse I have backed wins and is then disqualified for to many whip strikes the stewards better go into hiding! I would tear down the building looking for them!

A BAN on jockeys hitting a horse in consecutive strides over the final 200m
Ridiculous and absolutely should not be considered, let alone adopted. If this becomes a rule I may bring a whip to the track to use on racing administrators.

MAKING it illegal to whip horses that cannot feature in the prize money.
I think to make this illegal is a difficult position to put the jockeys in. You are asking a jockey to make a judgment call on a horses ability to make up some ground at the end of a race that could earn the owners prize money. Who is going to judge the point at which it CANNOT feature in prize money. If two horses are in a battle for 6th but both are well back from the 5th place horse (last prize money paying position) and the 5th horse pulls out injured or falls would it still have been illegal to whip the horses battling for 6th who suddenly end up in a battle for the money?

Overall these rules are stupid. If they are adopted I will have lost even more respect for racing industry leaders.

Ignore me at your peril racing industry!

Why no blur?

Does anyone know how these border control / customs shows work at all?

As far as I can tell you could be a passenger on the flight from hell via London arriving in convict land, Sydney. As you get off the plane trying to clear the sleep and dribble from your face you are forced to go through customs with a camera team recording your every word and move. If you cut a loud fart the whole world will here about it.

This camera team then make decisions to concentrate on the following. If you are cleared through customs quickly and without fuss you don’t make the show. If you are questioned and thought to be carrying illegal substances you are a big chance of making the show. If you are carrying illegal substances and are caught you will 100% make the show.

Now here is the bit I don’t understand. Why does anyone who is carrying drugs agree to actually be identified or let their image be shown on TV? Assuming that they are already nervous enough that they may get caught why would they want to identify themselves?

Or is it that when charged with the crime of carrying illegal substances, having previously agreed to be identified, that they now then have no right to stop the images being shown on TV?

I guess I am just trying to figure out how I would react if the good people at customs started questioning me and suddenly I had a TV camera shoved in my face.

Flying international is hard enough….. should the general public be faced with this?

The Reason

Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock (MADE IN JAPAN) for 6am. While his coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA) was perking, he shaved with his electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG). He put on a dress shirt (MADE IN SRI LANKA), designer jeans (MADE IN SINGAPORE) and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA). After cooking his Breakfast in his new electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA) he sat down with his calculator (MADE IN MEXICO) to see how much he could spend today. After setting his watch (MADE IN TAIWAN) to the radio (MADE IN INDIA) he got in his car (MADE IN GERMANY) filled it with Petrol from Saudi Arabia and continued his search for a good paying Australian JOB.

At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day checking his Computer (MADE IN MALAYSIA), Joe decide to relax for a while.. He put on his sandals (MADE IN BRAZIL) poured himself a glass of wine (MADE IN FRANCE.! ) and turned on his TV (MADE IN INDONESIA), and then wondered why he can’t find a good paying job in … Australia…..

NRL off to a flyer

Published by SJ under General

Another football season has arrived and for some reason all that was talked about on last nights footy show was player behaviour off the field. I am not sure why this is a big deal but it appears to be one. It is such a big deal that certain people are calling for a complete players ban on alcohol. I don’t understand how anyone thinks that this is a viable solution.

How would this be enforced? What are they going to do? Pop random breath tests on a Saturday night while a player is sitting at home watching other teams play having played himself the night before. Are they serious? You play Friday night and train Saturday morning and you do not have the right to sit in your own home and have a beer while watching the game?

I know this is not the sort of behaviour they are trying to stop but it is the majority of behaviour that occurs. There are 272 individuals who will play every weekend and this year there has been 2 incidents over a four week trial period so far. That is an occurrence a staggering 0.18% of the time! Yep lets ban players from alcohol for that…. even better lets just ban rugby league totally.

What are we banning next? Perhaps some of these media people should put there own hands up for an alcohol ban, they are also role models, in a sick and twisted sort of way. Come on Ray Hadless, Come on Phil Gould, Come on (it hurts me to say) Fatty, if you are going to talk the talk its time you walked the walk. I am absolutely sure there are people out there who can come up with some pretty bad and shocking true stories about you blokes in your youth. Oh wait a minute, oh hang on, that’s right, you blokes are hipster-hypocrites who don’t seem to remember the smell of your own turds. It sure seems the current smell is so bad that it has well and truly cancelled out your own.

Innocent or am I warped?

Published by SJ under General

I sat down quietly yesterday to enjoy an iced coffee in between tasks. I enjoy iced coffee and am quite partial to the new Breaker ’strong’ iced coffee. Now I am not sure if it is my warped mind that took me there or if it is just an innocent list of instructions on the carton but does anyone else interpret anything other than what is written? FYI this is the ‘list’ of instructions at the lid of the carton to ‘gain’ access to this product.

I took the liberty of scanning the area of interest.

Hmmmmmmm iced coffee………
