Toll road theory

Published by SJ under General

Someone said it the other day but I paid it no mind at the time. Having thought about it I believe this is the greatest idea in the history of motoring.

Toll road prices should be increased by 100% and new rules applied. These new rules are as follows.

1. No speed cameras or police of any nature. These roads should be deemed private and not subject to the laws of the nation or state.

2. Along these lines all speed limits should be abolished. If you want to pay to drive on these roads you pay for the right to drive as fast as you want. If you think that would make it to unsafe to drive on these roads than stay the hell off them!

3. Trucks are banned. Having battled with a few truck drivers of late my courtesy has been taken advantage and I have decided that all truck drivers should be stuck in the left lane following each other around on public roads rather than blocking me.

4. If you drive on these roads and do not stay in the left lane unless overtaking, other drivers will have the right to shoot at you and your car. I mean bullets yes. You don’t follow the rules and you will pay with your life.

5. Scooters are banned. You enter one of my toll roads on a scooter and heaven help you boy!

Mark Webber can’t win a grand prix to save himself but he is 100% correct in his assessment of Australia as a nanny state.

”It’s a great country, but we’ve got to be responsible for our actions and it’s certainly a bloody nanny state when it comes to what we can do,”

Here here Mark. And if you want to drive on my toll roads the responsibility is all yours!
