Denver Nuggets V WWE

Some absolute gold in the world of American sports entertainment is currently underway. NBA Basketball team the Denver Nuggets have unexpectedly made it through to the Wester Conference finals of the NBA playoffs against the LA Lakers (a pretty big thing for a bunch of no hoper gumby’s).

Team owner Stan Kroenke also owns the home stadium the Pepsi Centre a 20,000 odd thousand capacity arena in Denver Colorado. During off weeks or off seasons the stadium is obviously leased or rented to other clients to host non basketball events. One of the stadiums customers is the WWE or World Wrestling Entertainment.

Now this is where it is funny. Kroenke or his company have booked out their stadium to the WWE the very same night that they are scheduled to play a home game against the LA Lakers in on of their biggest games in over 20 years. The WWE has signed all contracts and their date is set in stone for next Monday night for their flagship show Monday night RAW.

Kroenke and Co. is saying terribly sorry there WWE old chap but umm we own the stadium and we are taking over.

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is suggesting the Kroenke is a complete niff as per the following little movie.

Heaven knows who is going to win or whether something can be worked out but I am betting Vince McMahon will fight to the bitter end about this and as his company name suggests, it should be entertaining.

Will advise of any further comical additions.

    I just heard this on the radio. apparenly the wwf are getting kicked out of the stadium.
