F1 Trouble for Bernie
Breaking news, The Chinese, Japanese, Malaysian and Singapore Formula One Grand Prix’s are to be cancelled in two years…..oh yes and the Australian GP. Apparently our GP doesn’t really suit the time zone of the European countries so F1 Supremo Bernie Ecclestone is spruiking the cancellation of our Melbourne GP. Strangely, all of the above GP’s share basically the same time zone as ours so I can’t quite figure out what Bernie is bashing his gums together for.
Some of you may not be aware of Bernie, he is an interesting character and is responsible for some of the more shady deals in world sport. Even putting boxing promoter dodgy Don King in the “not such a bad bloke after all” category. I suspect Don King is Bernie’s secret love child anyway. Your guess as to who the mother was.
For those who have never seen him Bernie and his awesome hair are as follows.
Leave the GP alone please Bernie. Or you may well enjoy a ‘weekend’ similar to another famous ‘Bernie.’
And for no reason a picture of Bernie’s daughter Tamara.

Who follows Formula One Racing in this country anyway? We all know that the V8′s are the real deal. F1 is for sissy Europeans, Indy is for bogan Americans and Rally Car driving is for the country-loving Kiwi’s (encountering more opportunities to meet new sheep throughout the course). V8 Supercars are the real grunt of motorsport.
So good riddance to Bernie (what Harry Potter will look like in a hundred years) and his upstart F1 poofters……….and that includes the pretend Aussie Mark “I’m as fast as an ironing board” Weber.

I love formula 1. It is the pinnicle of technology in car racing. Sorry champ, v8 stuper cas are a sad attempt at racing and a more succesful attempt at selling new cars to people who really don’t need them.
You need to sit down and watch a replay of M.Schumachaer on slick tyres over taking D.Hill on wet tyres at a saturated Belgium GP in the mid 1990′s, stupendist stuff……. nothing like this has ever been achived in your precious v8 stupid cars. you tube it if you are interested, it will change your outlook.

BEVANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Granted, F1 is the pinnacle of technology in motorsport. That still doesn’t hide the fact that it is boring to watch and the outcomes are highly predictable. Bernie is taking it away from Melbourne because Australians don’t care much for it and corporate sponsorship for the event in this country is a pigeon-shit amount when compared to that which the sport attracts when it is raced overseas. So, good riddance because nobody here really gives a flying (except you of course but I’d expect that because you are not that smart after all……)
I prefer formula 1 myself. The open wheel racing is so much more interesting and dangerous than watching some glorified taxi drivers bashing into each other around the track. But then again Bathurst is pretty cool.
I’m with IASM (that alone should tell you how passionate my view is) on this. You are all a bunch of bogans and I don’t want to see another comment from anyone using the oxymoron ‘motorsport’. Let me be clear – it is not a sport and never will be.

Never used the term motorsport myself. It is infact an oxymoron due to the fact that no ‘motor’ is involved whatsoever. An internal combustion engine is involved but no electric drive ‘motor’. However car racing is indeed a sport.
