Jon Jones is a lock…. I hope
In my humble opinion…..allow me to introduce to you the new Light Heavyweight Champion of the World, Jon ‘Bones’ Jones!! (Dude on the right for the n00bs…Moorey)
I have tried to explain this as best I can but I truly believe that a bet on Jon Jones is like betting on Mike Tyson in the lead up to his fight on the 22nd of November, 1986. Looking back there was no way in hell (even with acute Gonorrhea) Mike Tyson was going to lose to the late Trevor Berbick. If one were to watch all the lead up fights it would be crystal clear to all-n-sundry that Tyson was on another skill level compared to his compeition at that time.
I know Shogun is a great fighter and has accomplished a lot but I cannot help thinking back to his meteoric performances after previous returns from injury where he lost via tired submission to Forrest Griffin and squeaked passed a middle-aged Mark Coleman.
As far as cherries go, this is middle of the bat and four bits to the boundary.
With that in mind I have decided to put my nuts in a slingshot and whack half a gorilla on the challenging favourite. @ $1.57 I am not going to be rich afterwards (especially if I am proven wrong) but I look forward to the possible thrill of holding that winning ticket before the bell.
The more you put on the more you get back. Ticket as evidence (click to zoom).

Good luck man if you have had $500 bucks on it. Thats a big bet.
Are you kidding me? You are crazy mate
Love a good championship fight and as long as they actually fight it should be good. If it turns out like one of those Maywhether Jnr fights I would rather watch grass grow.
That’s an admirable bet SJ
Ballsy bet considering:
1- anything can happen. Shogun is no slouch.
2- was looking at jones record. Where has he really been tested? Hasn’t really had a tough top tier opponent yet.
3- your recent record of picking ufc winners
Hope u get it tho!
