Miss Anne Thrope
I recently made the following comments on news.com.au Jack Marx Live’s blog relating to the death of Heath Ledger. This was the last of section of the comment.
“Oh and it is sad to hear about Heath…. But I am sure the rest of the 155,000 (average) people that will die on this planet TODAY are just as important.”
I stand by these comments and believe they should not be considered offensive or disrespectful to anyone. You may disagree that is fine…. there is a section called ‘Leave a Reply’ below if you do.
I did rather enjoy one particular comment made in response to my statement.

“Most people are talentless bores and parasites. Why on earth would you assume they’re important? Just because they’re humans? If someone dies and has shown to possess some flare or talent, it is totally reasonable for people to put such a death above the everyday deaths of the mass of yucky humans. All that their deaths mean is that less animals will have to be killed(tens of millions a day) to feed their pointless existence.”
A brutal honesty that must be, if nothing admired.
How do you feel about this sort of thing? Is this an event of epic proportions or are there to many people like Miss Anne Thrope in existence? To caught up in this thing called “Culture” that they can’t remove their head from their own anus and realise that the world is much bigger than what is printed in Who Weekly.
She even has her own website http://www.miss-ann-thrope.com/ and may be a future client of Shirvo’s Spunk Store so we shouldn’t upset her…..

Most of us in Sydney use illicit drugs regularly, it is only the greedy individuals who lack any self control that end up falling on their own swords! Sympathy from me for them – nil!! Sympathy for their family and friends – high!!

Is someone talented for being able to act in a movie…perhaps. But it is a talent that makes your life more valuable than the next? Definately not. Has any actor ever made a difference to my life, hardly. Many types of people die all the time, some wouldnt have made a difference, some would, there is no way to tell so valueing them is a waste of time. Does Anne mourn the death of a cancer research doctor? Doubt it. Do us all a favour Anne, stop eating then everyone will be happy, including the animals you were about to consume, or if you are a vegie, the animals that the farmers were going to consume so that they could make the vegies you were about to consume. Heath Ledger :- Just another wasted life and not just in death, actors are just part of our consumerism life style they are expendable, did not the sun come up today anyway. A mentor once told me if you wish to know how irreplaceable you are fill a bucket with water, stick your head in it wait 10 seconds pull your head out wait another 10 seconds and the hole thats still left in the water is how irreplaceable you are.
Making movies about cowboys who are gay is not culture it’s a money grabbing concept that worked in the short term, it didn’t take guts it took greed.
Heath I hope your life was worth it but I’m with you SJ on this 1 I am sure a lot more worthy people died yesterday than just an actor.

I agree with that kid, i aint seen her but you know i still would.
Mothers, Fathers, children leave daily to do normal things to keep this world a great place. Many never return home and no one outside direct family and friends even realise.
No fancy ceremonies and wasted goverment funding making sure security etc is ok.
