Panda to no one

Published by SJ at 9:58 pm under General

Another one of Australia’s premier ‘news’ shows, 60 Minutes, last night (or tonight depending on when I publish this) showed a hard hitting story about the plight of the Panda. These poorly bear/racoon looking bits of gear that live in China or some joint seem to be having some difficulty staying alive.

As I listened to the story it was suggested that the female Panda is only on heat for 2 – 3 days per year and the male Pander rarely has any interest in fornicating at all. (Sounds like most marriages and that). They have even tried giving the poor buggers Viagra in a vain attempt to induce ‘action’ but to nothing! Seriously people come on! This is just nature working out a few of the kinks.

Any species this stupid doesn’t deserve to live surely? A suggestion I remember hearing a number of years ago (suggested about Koala’s) was that the they should be made a food and suddenly they wouldn’t be so endangered. I don’t want to have every single tree hugging hippy requesting my assassination but I am willing to risk it to ask one simple question. Couldn’t we be better directing our concerted efforts elsewhere?

All this money spent on helping Pandas procreate could be injected into many other worthwhile causes. Here are a few suggested alternatives.

The make a chick happy fund (relatively impossible I know)
The no paid maternity leave fund (the dumbest move EVER)
The assassinate the cast of guerrilla gardeners fund
The cone of silence fund (I would love one of these at work)

Have you got any thoughts as to where we may better use these resources?

Right on let the Panda’s die.

    Best idea ever!

According to the Primary Directive adopted by the Star Trek Federation – we cannot interfere in other cultures, including that of the pandas. If they die because they couldnt be bothered getting busy, then so be it.

Perhaps they should do what I do, pretend it is someone else…some other hotter panda from the next forest over?

This is a disgrace! I can’t even comprehend the mind that suggests such a terrible thing!

So you think they should be left to go extinct? How far do you want to let it go? Pandas what is next chickens, cattle? What constitutes an animal worth saving to you?

SJ & like-minded losers, once again your lack of ability to understand a holistic approach to life is incredibly frightening. Your feeble minds cannot comprehend anything more complicated than the single dimension in front of your nose. If humankind didn’t have more intelligent individuals like myself & Obama this universe would be a very dangerous place. I doubt mankind would survive. Do you NOT understand that all creatures have a part to play in the circle of life?!!? The Panda’s predicament has been caused by humans. Now we have an obligation to resolve it.
I suggest you sacrifice your next Saturday on the couch to spend some time educating yourselves about more than the supercar races.
Fat One, I think you are the dumbest of the dumb!

Really IASM, humans have been a factor in the demise of a species of animal???? I’d never have guessed.

Thankyou for once again delivering absolutely zero value. Perhaps instead of telling us how clever you are, you could actually show us. Just once would do.

I didn’t watch the show, but I find it interesting to hear that the Pandas don’t have a strong reproduction instinct. If their natural habitat is in such bad shape, is this nature’s way of preventing them from multiplying in an environment that can’t sustain a larger population?

I’m happy to see plenty of cash ploughed into this, although the hunting down and extermination of anyone who voted for Kevin Rudd needs some serious focus too.

    Panda Power!

It’s about 2 o’clock ,and you know how things look in a bar about two o’clock.. well there’s a panda and a prostitute sitting together, and the woman asks if he would like to go home with her.. the panda looks her over and says sure.. so they go to her place they have a good time and the panda gets up to leave, when the prostitute yells ,”where do you think you’re going?” the panda answers that he is going home, the woman then explains that she is a prostitute. She shows the panda in the dictionary that a prostitute is a woman that gets paid for sexual favors. The panda answers that yes he knew that, now look up panda: a black and white bear that eats shoots and leaves.

Hopefully IASM shares the same reproductive issue’s as the Panda………………unlike the TIGER!!

Unfortunately not Tiger, however I do believe he shares the same reproductive issues as a hat full of arseholes.
