Pub required
We are having a frightful time lately settling on a pub that we can all go to and good time on a Saturday afternoon.
Can anyone tell me about any decent pubs in Brisbane that include the following in order of preference.
Large TAB or pubtab (needs to be lots of tables / stools & more than 1 TAB machine)
Air conditioning
Central location with easy access from busses and trains
Fairly priced beers (none of this over $5 for a beer)
Staff with a good attitude (preferably female, hot, single and interested in me)
Can anyone else think of any requirements?
Can anyone list any locations in Brisbane? Or any other city for that matter.
As of January 6th 2008 I will make it my lifes goal to find such a place of wonder in Brisbane, even if I need to go to every pub in town. I am guessing you are flexible on condition #6 otherwise we may be in trouble.
Moranbah has a great location that matches all of your criteria with the exception of buses and trains (about 200km to the nearest of each of these forms of transport, although nowhere is far in Moranbah so no need for public transport), beers are dirt cheap which is ok if you are prepared to drink the remains of other peoples drinks from the night before because after closing time they just collect them and pour them back into the kegs, and finally, there are plenty of single women but the only way to tell them apart from the blokes is that their mustaches are slightly more bushy.
The only trully central location for all of us, since we live all over Brisbane is the city, the valley, coronation drive, somewhere like that.
Can’t name a venue off hand but I am perturbed by the adds that Google run on your site. They are obviously computer generated and relate directly to the heading of each discussion thread. Todays are all related to pubs (look to the left hand edge of the page) However yesterdays topic adds left something to be desired they all linked to gay or cross dressing sites probably because the topic contained the word “boys”. Maybe tomorrows topic should be “extra large clits” or “the art of female gushing” even if we don’t have anything to say on the subject just so we can see where the mighty Google will lead us.
