The aftermath

Published by SJ at 11:14 pm under General

Well that dam El Segundo did it! He seems so inconsistent I can never be sure which El Segundo is going to show up on a given day. We know who showed up Saturday! I got bashed from pillar to post in the Cox plate and am confident if there were a prize for the last four I would have taken the title. In other races Max and I combined nicely to secure a few winners in Adelaide, Rockhampton and Perth. The best performance for us on the day was an un-raced two year colt old called Amelia’s Reason in Race 3 Ascot. Out of Tycoon Miss by Rory’s Jester he travelled at the back of the pack over the 1000M then showed some great speed to flash past the entire field for a comfortable win. Not an overly fast time for the 1000M (59.68) but the last 600 was reasonable (34.77). I will be waiting for its next start with money in hand.

A big cheers goes out to the Doctor who allowed us to watch the races at his new bar. Racing on the big screen, TAB screen projected onto the wall and the beer was the right price. Excellent work!!

    Shirvo,

    How are you going in

    a) Stables
    b) Doctor’s tipping comp.

The only thing you are good at is once a yaer UKOK. Everything else with regrads to punting you are to say the least poor at

Thank you Tonguesy. I am not going so well in either comp. I am not a smart man remember….

Matty, The doctor is a magical man with an even more magical bar. It is for private use though, so you are not welcome!

But does this bar have a pole for late night activities? No!!!!!

    —————-

Once the racing channel was turned off and the fashion TV channel turned on there were more than one or two poles present I can assure you.

We can always count on Woody. By name and by nature
