The Gap Storm of 2008
I realise that the storm at the Gap earlier this month was pretty bad but the following movie shows some pretty good stuff. I have been through a few cyclones and this is a short burst of what some of them are like.
The next one is a cool lightening strike I found last night. There is a bit of swearing but turn your speakers up if you want to experience the full spine tingling experience of a close lightning strike.
The gap footage is insane….I was blown away…….
SJ, I’m sure you are aware IASM was in the gap, in fact owns the cyclone and ordered that cyclone to stimulate the building trades and is responsible for the beneficial flow on into the SEQ economy. Great work IASM I commend you, although I’m sure you will commend yourself in due course.

Wow, didn’t realise the storm was this powerful. No wonder there are so many damaged houses etc. I have never seen winds like that down here.
