The little master breaks 15000
I just read that Sachin Tendulka has scored 15000 test match runs. I have long admired the Dulk and think he deserves a standing ovation from all who enjoy the wonderful game of test cricket. I am not sure if it will happen but I would love one more opportunity to watch him score a massive score in a losing side at the GABBA (I guess this years schedule cruels me so I best get my ass on a plane).

It should be remembered that his career has now spanned over four separate decades and I barely recall him in a ruckus or controversy what-so-ever. Whilst I would still prefer Steve Waugh in a pressure situation I would be more than happy to have this bloke coming in at first drop for our team.
Interestingly Wikipedia lists the Dulk as “is an Indian cricketer widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket.” and while the Don will pretty much always hold the prestigious top position, few could argue that the Dulk is a fairly clear second.
I also reckon he doesn’t get quite enough credit as a spinner but that is a story for another day.
Now that Warnie is all but assured of playing in the boxing day test I look forward to one last test battle between the two champions.
