Who is this Amy Winehouse and why am I supposed to care about her?
Its all I hear about every time I turn the TV on or accidentally tune into a commercial radio station. Maybe it has something to do with her name ‘Winehouse’ it sounds like a nice place to go, curl up with a glass of wine and have a kip.
Well, I will tell you who she is. She is reasonably talented singer who has married some bloke (who is now in jail) and she is on all sorts of drugs and alcohol. Just another self absorbed entertainer, alcoholic junkie that the media seems fascinated with….. That’s it, she hasn’t cured cancer and as far as I am aware hasn’t adopted any refugees from Botswana

Hi Shirvy, well done with the website by the way, the blogs are both informative and witty. First thing first, Winehouse is only mildly attractive and that is coming from someone with very low standards after 4 years in Moranbah. Having said that, anyone who walks around the streets in their undies is alright by me, present company excluded. She wont last long in the news, there are plenty of other alcoholic drugos coming from the streets of LA and sooner or later it will become the norm and no longer news worthy.
As for the fight, well I didnt watch it but I did see some internet highlights of someone using Hattons head as a punching bag so he will be waking up with a bit of a headache, if he wakes up at all that is. Oscar de la Hoya is not only a great fighter but his name lends itself to some pretty cool commentary as the names are called out at the start….Ossssssssscar deeeee laaaaaa Hoooooooooooooyaaaaaaaaaa! As good as Oscar is though, Mayweather is better with belts in 5 different weight classes – not sure what the record is but that has got to be close?
Did you hear Willie Mason is trying to get a fight with Wayne Carey? Carey admitted that for a $1m he would walk in and get smashed. Carey and the guy whos wife he shagged would be a better fight though…..
